Why did I build Masadaki?
Hello, I'm Eda Çakar.
I'm the computer engineer who designed and developed Masadaki. I've been living in Italy since 2019 and studied Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino.
The idea is actually quite simple: restaurants shouldn't have to depend on someone else's system to manage their reservations.
In many restaurants, reservations are still scattered across phone calls, WhatsApp, Instagram messages and other channels. This creates unnecessary work and makes reservations harder to track. I built Masadaki to manage them in one place, in an organized and clear way.
Restaurants come first
Masadaki's approach isn't about taking over the relationship between a restaurant and its guests; it's about helping the restaurant manage that relationship better. As we develop the system, we stay committed to three core principles:
- Transparency. We want restaurants to clearly understand what they are paying for and how much they are paying. Instead of hidden fees and complicated pricing models, we build a simple and predictable structure.
- Control. Restaurants manage their own reservations and operations. Masadaki exists to make their work easier, not to replace them.
- Continuous improvement. Masadaki is backed by an engineer who directly develops the product. That's why feedback from restaurants isn't just a support request for us; it's one of the most important sources shaping how the product evolves.
I currently develop a large part of the system you see here myself, from the infrastructure to the user experience. If you think a feature is missing, a screen could work better, or something is unnecessary for a restaurant's daily operations, you can tell me directly.
Why does Masadaki exist?
To help restaurants work better with less complexity, rather than making them use more tools. I believe every restaurant, small or large, should be able to manage its reservations easily and see clearly what it pays for each service.
If you have an idea, a question, or a suggestion for improvement, you can reach me directly.
